If you are looking for student houses to rent in Sheffield you are most likely to be a student, graduate or postgraduate of one of our excellent universities. Or having finished your studies are now contemplating a career in the city you have come to love. As we are former graduates of the Sheffield Universities and now with children of our own who are also students, we understand the needs and requirements of both students and professionals.

We have been providing quality student accommodation for over 30 years and many happy tenants have decided to stay with us for the duration of their course. As we are independent landlords and not agents, our tenants can enjoy a more personal service. It is also in our interest to help you look after your home. We update and refurbish all our student houses, flats and apartments in Sheffield regularly.

The rooms in our student houses and flats are larger than average and packed with mod cons. We maintain high standards in accommodation and have recently built a brand new complex called The Peaks, with five 4-5 bed apartments, designed with students in mind. Most of our tenants enjoy ensuite facilities and high-speed Wi-Fi as standard. Large kitchens have plenty of storage and often include two ovens or fridges. Living areas with large screen TVs mean you don't need to hide in your room when you're feeling sociable. There is car parking and bike stores available and our properties are close to bus routes to aid all your transport choices. There are BBQ areas, gardens and roof terraces to allow you to enjoy the outdoors and catch up with the other occupants. Choose your new home on our properties page.

We have registered all our accommodation with the Local Authority and regulated by the Housing Act.

I've had a very pleasant experience living in Clarkson House over the last three years. Ive lived in three different rooms and have been pleased with the spaciousness of each room. The wardrobes and desks are large and there is plenty of storage space which I loved. The landlords were usually very happy to help and I found them to be friendly. On the whole, I was very happy with the rooms.

Overall a great experience, our flat looks great and the communal areas have also been really great. We got in really well with all of our flatmates especially after the lockdown where all of us who remained really grew rather close and made a good friendship circle and had many great nights in. Only real lows was initially the Wi-fi was really slow but that has since been fixed and is much better now.

I have really enjoyed living in this flat for two years. Quite sad to be leaving as longest place I’ve stayed in since moving to Sheffield. Definitely felt like home. Furnishings are great and plenty of storage for a couple. Landlords are great and quick to respond to repairs and issues. Also good at leaving you be and giving you space to make the place your home. Only issues I have had is with post, but they said they'll sort it out. Garden area is great especially when the weather is nice. Plenty of bins outside so no need to worry about not being enough room. Parking is also a great facility knowing your car is safe off the main road. WiFi has recently been an issue however Matt has been quick to respond and helpful in sorting this.

Generally living here has been fantastic, and I have loved the consistency of living here the three years. I think the best thing is having reliable landlords who are happy to respond quickly to any problems within the house such as washers/dryers breaking and to replace things which are no longer in good condition.
