  • Is there an All Inclusive option available with the rent?

    Yes, speak to the Agent (Igloo) / landlord when you are viewing the property about it.

  • When is the rent due?

    The rent is due quarterly (to coincide with student loans). However, it can be paid monthly if agreed with landlord beforehand.

  • Can I pay the rent monthly?

    Yes, as long as it is agreed beforehand with the landlord.

  • Do I have to pay Council Tax?

    If you are a student - No

    If you are NOT a student - Yes

  • What do I do if I lose my keys?

    You must contact the Agent (Igloo) / Landlord immediately. There will be a £50 call out charge.

  • What kind of contract would we need to sign?

    It is called an Assured Shorthold Tenancy Agreement.

  • What to do in an EMERGENCY?

    In any serious situation, your first call should be 999 or 101

    Plumbing emergency/ Heating system  - Call Agent(Igloo)/ Landlord Immediately

    Any other emergency - call Agent (Igloo)/ Landlord during office hours


  • Our shared internet is slow or not working, what should we do?

    Reboot the system. If the problem persists call the Agent (Igloo) / provider.

  • Is there secure off road parking?

    Yes at most of our properties.

  • What is the notice period for the landlord to enter the property?

    The landlord is required to give the tenant 24 hours notice prior to entering the property. They will do this via text, email or call. In an emergency no notice will be given
