There are many things on offer this year at the event, including free food and dance performances. The day kicks off at 3pm when there will be a lantern making workshop in preparation for a parade through the streets, later on, everyone is welcome from the around the area and this is a great way to celebrate the area you live in and get to know your community. The parade can be heard all around the area with many drummers marching within the parade and is quite a sight to behold, with many exciting and creative lanterns being presented. This year the theme for the lanterns will be monsters, so keep your eyes peeled for some brilliant designs like this.
