Congratulations on your A-level results and on securing a place at one of Sheffield excellent universities! Now to start planning your Freshers week! Here we shall give you some info on where to party and how to get some Early-Bird tickets
freshers skool disco -19th Sept / 26th Sept
At the Corporation
The one and only original Skool Disco, has been running for 23 years, one of the of the longest running, biggest, bubblegum pop nights on the planet.
This has to be Sheffield's largest and loudest student night. Starting at 10 pm through to 2:30 am, plenty of time to practise your moves on both the floor and off. There are three rooms in which to groove the night away, whatever your musical taste. Don’t forget your skool uniform of white shirt and tie for discounted entry.
Law Freshers Bar Crawl: Crime- 3rd Sept
Various venues: Revolution, Tiger Works, West Street Live & Corporation Skool Disco
Studying law at Sheffield uni, then this is a great place to meet up with fellow law students. A pub crawl ending at the skool disco at the corp (see above) so again dress code is skool uniform.
Organised chaos- Various dates and Venues over both Freshers weeks
This ticket will get you to all these events over both freshers week. Over the past 8 years, Organised Chaos events have proven some of the best nights out.

Yes, it is free, but hurray before they run out! The Leadmill is one of Sheffield's iconic venues and to starting your Freshers week here is a must. Expect to hear Arctic Monkeys, Foals and Catfish.
The Tuesday Club Freshers' Carnival at The Foundry-18th Sept
Although the full line up is yet to be released, the early bird tickets are sold out! Grab a discounted ticket today!
These are a selection of what’s on and where. Getting in early is key to securing the best parties. This also goes for apartments. As soon as Freshers week is over, its time to check out apartments for next year and again, the best go fast.
