An alternative Halloween

One of the advantages of living in Sheffield is that there is always something going on. If you fancy something a little different this Halloween, then one of these events might be just the thing for you.

These events are on during the Halloween week:

The 26th  of October is the Grand Hallowe’en Ball doors open at 8:30 pm and ends around 3 am. Tickets from £28.

Ghost tours are always popular around Halloween and Steel City Ghost tours has some special tours planned for Halloween week, they meet at the City hall at 7:30 pm and the tour lasts till 9:30 pm. Book your tickets now!

John Robins comedian, as seen on Live at The Apollo, Mock the Week, Live at the BBC, 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown and Edinburgh comedy award winner 2017 is on at the Leadmill 30th October at 7:30 pm. Tickets £19.25.

On the 30th, you could enjoy listening to Jonathan Pie on his Fake News Tour. He is live at Sheffield City hall at 7:30 pm. You could splash out and have a two-course meal before the show for £15.

Start your day on Halloween 31st, with a Fungi walk it’s free and you need to meet at Beighton-Drakehouse Lane tram stop. 10 am, the event runs till 12 noon. You will learn all about mushrooms and toadstools from a local expert.

Musical-activist-comedians Jonny and the Baptists are playing at the Leadmill on the 31st. Their ‘Love Sheffield Hate Bastards’ set will entertain and inform you.

Fright Fest is back. Get your tickets now, for a night of ghouls and gremlins in Burgess Street, City Centre, Sheffield. Tickets start at £4. Timings are 10 pm till 4 am

The 1st of November there is a Halloween Murder Mystery with 3-course meal DJ and late bar. This is at Sheffield United Bramall lane conference suite. The event will start at 7.30 pm, finishing at around 10.00 pm, with the bar remaining open until around 1 am in the morning. Tickets are £29.95 per person.

Start your Firework night celebrations with the fantastic Illuminate the Gardens show in the Botanical Gardens. These shows combine lighting and fireworks to create a wonderful display. They are on for 3 nights starting on the 1st of November. Start time at 5 pm through to 10 pm. Tickets £12 for 5hrs of fun.
